The Rogers E-Dock

Dear Friends & Family,

As many of you already know we have arrived in the States and have adjusted to the time change.  The kids were absolutely wonderful for all of the three flights to the States.  They are enjoying taking everything in and Amy & I are having fun showing them what is home to us.  A number of times we find them looking quizzically at something and suddenly realize that we never thought this would be new for them.  The kids have met both grandparents and even two of their remaining great grandparents.  Needless to say the grandma's and grandpa's are thoroughly enjoying their time with them!

The past two weeks have consisted of a debrief at MAF HQ in Nampa, Idaho as well as a visit to our church in Boulder City, NV and Acton, CA.  We are now in Lancaster, CA enjoying time with family.  We are looking forward to spending the holidays with them as well as visiting with a number of folks in the Antelope Valley.  Stay tuned for possible Open House events in both the Antelope and Victor Valleys.  We are looking forward to sharing with you what God is doing in Africa!  Below is our new contact information, and please feel free to contact us so we can make sure to see you.
As several of you noticed in our last e-mail, I mentioned the arrival of a baby.  Afterwards I realized we never officially announced that Amy was pregnant!  Oops!  Well now you know.  She is due April 14th.  We weren't trying to hide anything, we just wanted Elyanna to have her spotlight in the newsletter and then we'll have a spot in the next newsletter for the baby.  We hope to find out what if it's a boy or girl next Monday.
Many of our friends and churches have been asking how our support is doing and how they can assist us financially.  Our support is doing well but we are always open to new partners.  We did want to let you know of one particular need.  We will need to purchase another vehicle when we return to Uganda and we are asking for some assistance with this as our last car's engine died and we were not able to sell it for much.  If you do choose to give towards this need, please make the check out to us as MAF no longer accepts personal gifts for us.  Thank you again for all of your support in many different ways!

For His Glory,

Dave & Amy Rogers
