I confess again that I love the colors, music and message of Christmas.  God's love and grace is what I'm drawn to, not the commercialization of it.  If it were not for a very limited budget I'd be buying gifts for virtually everyone I know because I want them to know I love them/you!!!!!!  I am also keying in on Christ's second coming more and more.  I'm needing to remind myself of Who my Provider is during these hard financial times.  My prayers are for all of us who know Christ to lean on, even fall on Him for His provision and peace.  I am so glad He gives us His peace when we depend on Him!!!!!  He never fails, praise the Lord!!!!!  : )  He is in control and one day He will rule and reign on the earth and righteousness will prevail!!!!

Last month I reported on bike thefts by boys I know, some who had attended youth group at the church until it ceased in early May.  Since the Gallup police continued to do nothing about the original bike thefts, the boys lost their fear of what might happen and went and did it again two weeks ago tonight.  This time they hit the other dirt bike dealership in Gallup stealing four bikes plus stealing a flat bed trailer from another company in town.  They tried to be more clever about where they rode and kept the bikes but a Navajo man saw the boys carrying gas cans over a hill on the rez, followed them then found everything.  The boys never knew they were followed and still do not know how the bikes were found.  Still, Gallup police say this is not important enough to do anything about it now as they have other cases ahead of this one.  The message these boys get is there are no consequences!!!!

I have started youth group back up at my home as of Dec. 1st.  I'm praying for the boys to attend.  My plan is to use some Answers in Genesis material to help them to think about the reality of God.  I had four boys for the first group, three of them do not attend church and I'm quite sure are not Christians yet. : )  One of the three unchurched boys was involved in the incidents above.

Your continued prayers for Sarah during the holidays will be greatly appreciated.  Though her bouts with depression over losing her daughter have lessened they still come.  A recent death in the extended family the day before Thanksgiving has her trying to be there for some family members who still seriously struggle with Sarah's daughter's death.  The cousin who was with Saraphine in the car accident is not a Christian and is going through a lot of depression.  Sarah has been reaching out to her a lot lately.  It is a challenge for her, but also good to be caring and thinking about someone else.

I have had a number of opportunities to talk about the Lord as a result of taking the six week course!!! : )  I really do want prayer for pacing myself in work.  I'm studying for ladies' Bible study, youth group and trying to study and practice my Parelli courses along with trying to hack through email and snail mail, spend time with people, try to do my back exercises, teach one horse lesson a week and......................should I continue?  I'm continually asking the Lord to help me know what needs my attention and what really doesn't especially in all the reading material I get.  It's tough being a slow reader!!!  If I do not respond right away to email or snail mail, please be patient, you may get an answer in six months or so!!!!!
